As your Chief of Police for the Village of Pioneer, I feel that it is only fitting that you all are familiar with me. I have been a long time resident of Williams County residing here for nearly 42 years.
I served in our United States Army for nearly 17 years in the United States Army Military Police Corps. I am a proud veteran and thank the citizens of Williams County for their support over the years. I am currently a member of the VFW Post 8628 here in Pioneer, Ohio and a member of Post 60 of the American Legion in Stryker, Ohio. I will forever be grateful for those whom have served and those that continue to do so where ever they are defending this great Country that we live in. I have been involved in law enforcement since 1987; will soon be a graduate of Owens Community College with an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. I look forward to working with our community here in Pioneer making this a community that is truly proud of live and work here. I am Proud to be your Chief of Police and I bring to you the many years of training, education and will provide you the best service by training our officers and educating them to allow them to provide the highest level of professionalism that any Law Enforcement Agency can offer. This website is a means of putting our sense of pride, professionalism, dedication to this community and the loyalty to our community here in Pioneer, Ohio. It is my goal to strive to keep our community informed of any changes that should take place within the Pioneer Police Department and I will use our web page as a means of keeping the community aware of any upcoming events that your police department will take part in. Thank you for your continued support in our efforts and report crime when you see it happen in order to help keep Pioneer a safe place to live. Chief Tim Livengood |
